Clear terms for a practical workplace product

Seller and acceptance

AI Parameters provides AI Workplace Guardrails. By purchasing or using AI Workplace Guardrails, the purchasing company and the individual completing the purchase agree to these Terms. The purchaser confirms that they are authorized to accept these Terms for the company. Questions may be sent to support@setparameters.com.

Product boundary

AI Workplace Guardrails provides practical workplace education, templates, training, and operating materials. It is a self-service product, not legal, medical, financial, privacy, security, or technical advice; a certification; or a guarantee of compliance or any particular outcome. The purchasing company remains responsible for its decisions and for obtaining specialized advice when appropriate.

Company license

Payment grants one purchasing company a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and adapt the delivered materials for its own internal operations. The company may share the materials with its employees and authorized advisers solely for that internal purpose. Resale, sublicensing, republication, public distribution, sharing with unrelated organizations, and use to create or sell a competing template, training, or product are prohibited.

Digital delivery

The toolkit is a digital product intended for delivery or access promptly after successful payment. By completing the purchase and requesting immediate access, the customer consents to immediate digital delivery and acknowledges that any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right may end when delivery or access begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Price and automatic renewal

The Guardrails Toolkit costs $299 USD as a one-time purchase and includes the first 30 days of Ongoing Guardrail Updates. A payment method is required at checkout. After the included period, Ongoing Guardrail Updates automatically renew at $39.99 USD per month until canceled. The first recurring charge is scheduled 30 days after purchase, and later charges occur monthly. Applicable taxes and any supported local-currency conversion are shown at checkout.

Cancellation

The customer may cancel Ongoing Guardrail Updates at any time through the Stripe customer billing portal or by contacting support@setparameters.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and prevents future renewal charges. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation does not revoke the company’s internal-use license to the version of the toolkit already delivered.

Refunds

Because the $299 Toolkit provides immediate access to digital materials, that purchase is final and non-refundable once access or delivery has occurred, except where required by law or where a verified technical failure prevents access and cannot be corrected. Subscription charges already processed are non-refundable, except where required by law. Canceling stops future renewals but does not create a refund for prior charges.

Updates and availability

Ongoing Guardrail Updates include a monthly status note and, when a material development affects the toolkit, focused guidance or replacement language. AI Parameters may improve, replace, or discontinue particular formats or delivery methods while preserving the service’s essential purpose. Temporary interruptions do not create a guarantee of uninterrupted access.

Intellectual property

AI Parameters and its licensors retain all ownership rights in the product, its source materials, branding, and intellectual property. The license above grants permission to use the delivered materials; it does not transfer ownership.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the product is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Parameters will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities. AI Parameters’ aggregate liability relating to the product will not exceed the amount the customer paid to AI Parameters during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Colorado law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. AI Parameters may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated through a reasonable channel before they take effect. The version presented at purchase governs that purchase, subject to later accepted updates and applicable law.
